The best market knowledge already exists, scattered across a century of traders, books, and research. What's missing is a calm, structured, honest place that compiles it, teaches the thinking behind it, sources every claim, and is genuinely safe for a curious beginner — including a young one.

How we build it — our standard
Most trading sites ask you to trust the author. We'd rather you trust the method. Every page on this site is built to one rule: nothing is published that we can't verify.
- ✓Primary sources, cited on the page. We trace ideas to the original publication, paper, or the trader's own words — and link them. We verify sources at the time of writing, not from memory.
- ✓Honest about the evidence. Where the research is strong we say so; where it's thin or mixed, we say that too. Our deep dives include the weaknesses of every method, not only its strengths.
- ✓No invented content. If a topic genuinely lacks a history, a formula, or peer-reviewed evidence, we leave that out rather than pad it. Quotes are verbatim-verified or clearly labelled as paraphrase.
- ✓Everything connects. Concepts, strategies, traders, and terms are cross-linked into one web, so any idea is a click or two from everything related to it.
- ✓Honest about risk. Every page that touches live trading carries a plain risk warning. We never promise profits, because no one honestly can — and most active traders lose money.

Timeless Markets is an independent project created by Jarrett A. Hyder, built on the conviction that high-quality market education should be free, honest, and rigorously sourced — not gated, hyped, or dumbed down. It is assembled from public, primary sources and credits the educators and researchers it draws on throughout.
Free, and meant to stay that way
All of the learning here is free. The site may one day be supported by reader donations or book links, but the education itself will not sit behind a paywall.
